Northpoint recently completed a project for customer SGI (Safety Glass Industries Ltd) on the sheet metal and fabrications line. The family run company based in Trafford Park in Manchester predominantly specialises in vehicle conversion glasses and window units, including ambulances and horse boxes. Northpoint and SGI have been working alongside one another since 2017, building a strong working relationship.
This job involved the coating of a number of red handles, that were part of a project to supply frames for a fleet of ambulance vehicles. The parts were coated with polyester powder in “traffic red” Ral 3020 and the job was completed within the allocated timeframe.
